Holiday & Office Parties at The Yard in Ocean City NJ

This weekend, Saturday and Sunday, October 24 and 25, is the last regular public weekend of 2026 at The Yard. After that, we stop taking walk-ins for the winter. The Yard does not go dark, though. From November on, 741 West Ave is open for private parties and special events, which makes it a good fit for a holiday party, an office outing, or a team celebration in Ocean City.

Here is how a winter private event works, from the crew that runs it.

What you get with a private party

The Yard's private party option is listed on theyardocnj.com/birthday-parties, and it is the same idea for any group: the place is yours.

• Exclusive use of The Yard: no other groups on site during your party.
• Two hours of private access to the facilities.
• Room for a real crowd: listed as starting at $750 for up to 60 people.

Want us to handle the food and setup?

The Yard's add-on party package is built to take planning off your plate. As listed on the site, it includes:

• Pizza and cake
• Drinks (water, soda, and juice boxes)
• Plates, cups, and napkins
• Decorations, including tablecloths and a personalized welcome sign
• Setup and clean-up

What your group can do

Climb the Sky Net

The Sky Net is over 3,000 sq ft of suspended nets and obstacles in an open-air playground. It's great for staff family parties and holiday gatherings with kids. Sky Net is for ages 2+, Under the Net is for ages 1+, and kids under 3 need a parent with them in the net. It's outdoors, so in winter everyone should dress for the weather.

Take over the simulator

Inside, The Yard has Ocean City's only Full Swing golf and sports simulator, with more than 50 world-famous courses and over 20 other games, including soccer, football, lacrosse, and dodgeball. It's a fun, low-pressure team activity, and nobody needs to be a golfer. One bay holds up to 6 players at a time, so bigger groups take turns.

1. Pick two or three possible dates. Holiday-season weekends can book up, so backups help.
2. Get a rough headcount, including how many kids will climb and how many adults will join.
3. Decide on extras: the add-on party package, simulator time, or both.
