Fall at The Yard: Fall Fest Oct 10 in Ocean City, NJ
The beach towels are put away, but The Yard at 741 West Ave isn't slowing down. This Saturday, October 10, 2026, we're hosting Fall Fest below the net, and it's free to attend. Pumpkin painting, stuffy making and face painting are available as extras, there's a coloring station, and more. If you're in town for the block party, swing by The Yard while you're out.
Fall Fest at a glance

- Cost to get in: free to attend below the net
- Extras: pumpkin painting, stuffy (stuffed animal) making and face painting are paid add-ons on top of free entry. Call 609-398-3345 if you want pricing ahead of time.
- Sky Net: not part of the free entry. Sky Net is $25 per child if your crew wants to climb.
What's happening below the net
Fall Fest is set up for little kids and the grown-ups who bring them. Expect pumpkin painting, stuffy making, face painting, a coloring station and more. The activities can vary a bit between the morning and midday sessions, so don't count on one specific station being at both.
Just to be clear: walking in and hanging out below the net is free. Painting a pumpkin, building a stuffy and getting your face painted cost extra. We'd rather you know that before you come than at the table.
How it works
- Pick a session. Morning (9:30 to 11:30 AM) or midday (12:00 to 2:00 PM).
- Reserve your free spot online. Each session has limited space, so book ahead instead of walking up. Use The Yard's online booking.
- Show up at 741 West Ave and head below the net. Pumpkin painting, stuffy making and face painting are extras, and Sky Net is $25 per child if the kids want to climb.
What to bring
- Clothes you don't mind getting a little paint on
- A layer for the kids. It's October at the shore, and Fall Fest is outside.
- The name your reservation is under
- A way to pay for any add-ons you choose
- Closed-toe sneakers if anyone is going up in the Sky Net
- Your phone. You'll want photos of the face paint.
Fall at The Yard after Fall Fest
Missed Saturday? The Yard is still a good fall stop for families in Ocean City. Here's what's there any time you book:
- Sky Net: over 3,000 sq ft of suspended nets to climb, bounce and explore in an open-air playground. Ages 2+, $25 per child for a 2-hour session.
- Under the Net: ground-level access to The Yard and its yard games, for ages 1+.
- Grown-ups: kids under 3 must have a parent with them in the net.
- Indoor sports simulator: when the wind picks up, head inside. The Yard's Full Swing simulator lets you play more than 50 golf courses or 20+ other games like soccer, football, lacrosse and dodgeball. It's booked separately from the Sky Net.
