Aqua Park Ocean City NJ: What to Know Before Your First Session

If this is your first time on the inflatable park, you don't need a long briefing. You need the address, the age rules, what to throw in the bag, and a booked slot. We run Aqua Park at the Boathouse Marina on the bay. Sessions are 45 minutes, tide-dependent, and they fill when the weather's good.

What it is

Aqua Park is a 20,000 sq ft floating playground with 50+ features — slides, monkey bars, diving boards, and climbing pieces — sitting in the back bay at 228 Bay Ave. Life vests are included. Lifeguards are on the park. You climb, slide, fall in, climb again. That's the whole idea.

Aqua Park, Beachy Tiki, and Shark Bait all check in at 228 Bay Ave. The Yard is the exception: that's at 741 West Ave.

Who it's for

Standard sessions are ages 6 and up. Kids, teens, and adults all go out together. If you've got little ones, we run Small Splash slots for ages 4–7 so they can move around without bigger kids flying off the tall stuff. Some of the bigger features stay limited or closed during those sessions on purpose.

If your kid is going to live on this thing all summer, pass packs are still live on the Aqua Park site. A 5-pack is $185 and a 10-pack is $350. Each pack is for one predetermined person, and those sales are final. Check current options at aquaparkocnj.com/pass-pack.

What to bring

Keep it simple. We hand out life vests. You bring the rest.

  • Swimsuit you can actually move in
  • Water shoes if you have them — the dock and inflatables are easier in shoes than flip-flops
  • Towel and a dry shirt for after
  • Sunscreen already on — you'll be in and out of the water the whole session
  • A bag for phones, keys, and wallets (leave them on the dock)
  • Water bottle

Skip jewelry. Don't plan to hold a phone on the park. If you're stacking a second session, pack like you'll be wet for a while.

Tides and hours

The park is tide-dependent. We typically run from 9 AM to 7 PM, but the actual slots that day follow the tide, not a fixed clock you can memorize. Sessions start on the hour and last 45 minutes. A double session is two consecutive hours — on the live ticket page that's $65 versus $40 for a single.

If the tide window is short, book the time you can actually make. Don't assume walk-up. Check the day's times on aquaparkocnj.com or call 609-398-9000 before you drive over.

How to book

Book the Aqua Park on aquaparkocnj.com. You can also book through our FareHarbor page at totallytubularwatersports on FareHarbor. The hub for all of our brands is ocnjwatersports.com.

A single 45-minute session is $40. Two consecutive sessions are $65. Groups of 10 or more are $35 a person, or $55 for the double. Private park parties (up to 80 people) are $1,800. Those are the live numbers on the tickets page as of this writing — confirm when you book.

If the kids still have gas in the tank after they get off the park, The Yard is our aerial net playground nearby. Same family, different kind of climb.

Questions before you lock a slot? Call 609-398-9000. Then book the session and show up at 228 Bay Ave, Ocean City Boathouse Marina.
